The following incident/s were reported
- A suspicious male was observed hiding among the trees in the open veld adjacent to Hanekom Road, Noordheuwel. The male was reportedly threatening residents and passersby with robbery and the theft of their personal belongings, claiming to be in possession of a firearm. Public Safety was notified of the incident.
(Date: 17 Aug – Time: 09:00) - A male wearing a blue shirt and carrying a black backpack was observed walking along Olivier Street towards Kathleen Avenue, Noordkruin, approaching members of the public and asking for money. It was reported that the male became verbally abusive towards individuals who refused to give him money.
(Date: 17 Aug – Time: 17:00) - Two males, one Bravo and one Whiskey, were observed loitering in the vicinity of Milkwood Street, Rangeview. A RO attended to the scene and confirmed that the two individuals were making their way to their place of residence.
(Date: 17 Aug – Time: 22:10) - A burglary occurred at a complex in Libertas Street, Noordheuwel during the night. Perpetrators broke the security gate and door to gain entry to one unit.
