The Community Police Forum (CPF) exists to ensure that the area is safe for everyone. Sector policing is a method of policing in which the service area of a police station is divided into smaller, more manageable sections called sectors. The South African Police Service (SAPS) appoints a sector commander to oversee each sector. The community and its sector commander play an active role in guaranteeing local safety and security.
