Daily Incident Report – Date: 01 April 2025

The following incident/s were reported

  1. A suspicious dustbin digger wearing a dark jacket, jeans, grey cap and a dark colour backpack was scouting properties in Tipperary Street, Kenmare. He then moved around in different streets. RO’s responded and got hold of him and confirmed he is not a dustbin digger he only walked around. He was escorted out of the area.

  2. A suspicious dustbin digger was loitering in Dublin Street, Kenmare. A RO responded. He was asked to leave the area.

  3. A suspicious dustbin digger was loitering in Rice Street, Noordheuwel. RO’s responded. He was asked to leave the area.

  4. Three bravo males were making a nuisance of themselves by shouting at cars and trying to pull out road signs on the corner of Loftus Road and Olivier Street, Noordheuwel. A RO responded. They already left the area.

  5. A suspicious white VW Polo Vivo sedan with one bravo male was parked on the corner of Bell Avenue and Leadwood Street, Rangeview. On approaching the vehicle by one of the members, the bravo male then drove away. RO’s were notified to BOLO for this vehicle.

  6. A car guard asked for assistance for a person that stole the wiper blades off a vehicle at Noordheuwel Shopping Centre on the corner of Lud Herch and Robert Broom Drive, Noordheuwel. A RO responded. He already left the area.

  7. Unusual noises were heard coming from a property in Forsyth Crescent, Noordheuwel. RO’s responded. Contact was made with the owner of the property and it was confirmed that it was the domestic worker. All was in order.

  8. A two MVA occurred when a black Bakkie skipped the stop street and collided with a white Ford Bantam bakkie on the corner of Hoffnaar Street and Lud Hersch Drive, Noordheuwel. RO’s responded. The one driver was injured on his arm, no other serious injuries were reported. The vehicles were towed away. The scene was cleared. Both the drivers went to SAPS to report the incident.
