Daily Incident Report – Date: 27 – 29 September 2024

The following incident/s were reported:

1. A veld fire broke out at the back of Hobby Park towards Sugarbush Estates on Robert Broom Drive, Noordheuwel. The Fire Department and RO’s responded to assist. The fire was extinguished.

2. A suspicious bravo male loitered around in front of a residence in Bell Avenue, Rangeview. RO’s responded. He already left the area.

3. A suspicious bravo male loitered around in the area of the Botanical Gardens, Rangeview. He offered children candy/sweets through the fence. RO’s responded and patrolled the area, but he already left. A BOLO was sent.

4. An intoxicated bravo male walked in the road on Robert Broom Drive close to the R28 off-ramp, Noordheuwel. Patrollers responded. He already left the area.

5. A suspicious bravo male made a nuisance of himself by begging at KFC on Robert Broom Drive, Noordheuwel. Patrollers were on scene. He was escorted out of the area.

6. Two gunshots (unconfirmed) were heard in Longford Street, Kenmare. No further reports were received.

7. Two suspicious whiskey males with a silver Kia was parked in Sneezewood Street, Rangeview. SAPS patrolled the area.

8. A big branch fell into the road in Longford Street, Kenmare. The Fire Department was notified to assist with clearance of the road.

9. Tenants harassed an owner and lifted the main gate off the rails while moving out at a residence in Libertas Street, Noordheuwel. SAPS, Patrollers and RO’s were on scene. They later returned and completed the removal of all belongings.

10. A suspicious white Toyota Hilux with two number plates was parked at Checkers Noordheuwel on the cnr of Lud Hersch Drive and Robert Broom Drive, Noordheuwel. Patrollers and RO’s responded. The vehicle was not stolen and they left the area.

11. Children drove dangerously with a motorcycle in Villiers Street, Kenmare. Patrollers were notified.

(Time of incident: 15h10)

12. Domestic violence occurred at a residence in Hanekom Road, Noordheuwel. SAPS, Patrollers and RO’s responded.  The situation calmed down.

13. A suspicious bravo male loitered in Fisk Street towards Ross Street, Noordheuwel. Patrollers were on scene. He was requested to leave the area.

14. A burglary occurred at a residence in Sand Ash Street, Rangeview. The suspects gained entrance through the back door. Patrollers and RO’s were notified.
