📢 CPF S7 Daily Incident Report 📢
Date: 7-9 October 2022
The following incident/s were reported:
1. Suspicious silver Golf or Polo was driving in Leadwood Street, Rangeview. Patrollers and RO’s responded.
2. Suspicious white taxi standing in Tulbach Street, Kenmare.
3. A silver Ford Ranger and silver Hyundai i10 pulled into a driveway and stood there for a minute and then left Quinn Street, Noordheuwel.
4. A suspicious dark blue Renault with one bravo was stationery in Libertas Street, Noordheuwel. RO’s responded.
5. MVC involving two vehicles and minor injury in Bell Drive, Noordkruin. Public Safety, Medical Services, Towing and Patrollers and were on scene.
6. A suspicious bravo male sitting in the park in Longford Street, Kenmare. RO’s responded and confirmed he is waiting to start work at one of the houses.
7. A suspicious silver Renault Clio was parked in Libertas Road, Noordheuwel. RO’s responded and confirmed the vehicle has left.
8. A suspicious white Hyundai with no number plate was driving slowly and stopping in front of houses in Lindhout Street and Kathleen Avenue, Noordkruin. RO’s patrolled the area and could not find the vehicle.
9. Suspicious vehicles were reported near Kenmare Lapa in the kloof at the end of Kwartel Road, Kenmare. Patrollers made contact with owner, whose staff confirmed it was guests for a function at the lapa.
10. Kids were vandalizing property in Bell Drive, Noordheuwel.
We would like to use this opportunity to highlight the seriousness of this crime. Perpetrators, when identified or caught causing damage to municipal property (ie. malicious damage or removing a road sign, damage to mini substation, cutting down trees, etc.) could give rise to civil action aimed at damages and may end up with a criminal record. Public safety is busy investigating Saturday’s incident.
11. Guns shot were reported in Longford Street and Dublin Street in Kenmare. Patrollers and RO’s responded and cleared the area.
12. Homeless person sleeping and making a mess in Hanekom Road, Noordheuwel. This was reported to the MMC of Public Safety.
13. A suspicious white Nissan Almera driving very slowly in Tulbach Street, Kenmare. RO’s responded.
14. A suspicious bravo male with blue overall jacket and hat was standing in Flame Thorn Street, Rangeview.
Please do not assist the homeless in and around our area with food, clothing, soap and water, heating their food etc. This will encourage them to stay and more will follow.
